About the Role
Duties
- The position is accountable for proactively and reactively coordinating and managing event details dealing with client requests from the Sales Phase to the Post Event Phase
- Soliciting and handling sales opportunities for events at The Ritz-Carlton Perth
- Assists in leading all day-to-day activities related to events sales with a focus on building long-term value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives
- Monitor and develop performance review for pre & post events to provide recommendation
- Liaising with marketing and other division of the hotels in building successful relationships that generate event sales opportunities and result in events exceeding guest expectations.
- Using knowledge of market trends and target customer information to maximize revenue
