About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and outcome focused Business Data Analyst to join our dynamic Inventory & Supply Chain team supporting the Mining division. Based in our Para Hills West Head Office you will play a key role in optimising the companys Inventory position and supply chain service level through the collection analysis and reporting on data from various sources. The Business Data Analyst will work cross functionally to understand the needs of stakeholders and communicate findings in a clear and compelling way.
Skills and Duties:
With an immediate start you will be required to:
- Engage with key stakeholders identify gaps and business needs lead projects streamline ERP systems and support informed decision making by giving clear insights into data
- Analyse inventory data and assess opportunities for optimisation or service level improvement and present recommendations to senior management
- Maintain data integrity within the existing Power BI dashboards along with other Liebherr Databases Selecting appropriate reporting tools for special projects.
- Be a self-starter have a collaborative work style in a cross-functional team mentor and lead junior members
- Have a strong commitment to continuous improvement and safety procedures.
Requirements:
To be successful in this position you will have:
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant certifications in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or Business Analytics
- A solid understanding of inventory & Supply Chain concepts
- Proficient in Power BI SQL Programming and MS Office
- Strong analytical skills to process extensive data sets run diagnostic reports automate processes and determine customer needs whilst improving the remanufacturing process
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience with ERP systems
- Technical IT background
