Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our clients team on a long-term wastewater treatment plant project based on the Gold Coast. This is a site-based role offering stability and the opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Welding and fabrication of structural and process components
GTAW (TIG) welding to high standards
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards

Day-to-Day Duties

Perform welding cutting and fabrication tasks on site
Assemble and install piping tanks and structural steel
Conduct inspections and quality checks on completed welds
Collaborate with supervisors and trades to meet project milestones
Maintain tools equipment and a safe work environment

Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Boilermaker in heavy industry or infrastructure projects
Strong background in GTAW/TIG welding and fabrication
Previous site-based project experience (water treatment or similar preferred)
Ability to work independently and within a team

Qualifications & Requirements

Trade Certificate in Boilermaking
Weld Australia Certification (AS1796 Ticket 5 & 7)
White Card (Construction Induction)
Current Drivers Licence and own reliable transport
Unlimited working rights in Australia
Hepatitis A & B vaccinations
