About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Boilermaker to join our clients team on a long-term wastewater treatment plant project based on the Gold Coast. This is a site-based role offering stability and the opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Welding and fabrication of structural and process components
- GTAW (TIG) welding to high standards
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
Day-to-Day Duties
- Perform welding cutting and fabrication tasks on site
- Assemble and install piping tanks and structural steel
- Conduct inspections and quality checks on completed welds
- Collaborate with supervisors and trades to meet project milestones
- Maintain tools equipment and a safe work environment
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Boilermaker in heavy industry or infrastructure projects
- Strong background in GTAW/TIG welding and fabrication
- Previous site-based project experience (water treatment or similar preferred)
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Qualifications & Requirements
- Trade Certificate in Boilermaking
- Weld Australia Certification (AS1796 Ticket 5 & 7)
- White Card (Construction Induction)
- Current Drivers Licence and own reliable transport
- Unlimited working rights in Australia
- Hepatitis A & B vaccinations
