A Day in the Life:

The Labor/Utility is responsible for performing general laborer duties to maintain a clean plant area. Additionally this role is responsible for demonstrating a commitment to supply safe food maintain a food safety culture within the site continually improve the sites food safety management system and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.

Position Details:

Rotating shift: 7a-7p 7p-7a

Overtime call-out availability weekends/holidays and rotating shift availability are required

Pay rate: $23.70 per hour

What Youll Be Doing:

Shovel and sweep product to maintain clean plant area
Operate hand tools forklift bobcat backhoe and other mobile equipment
Climb steps/ladders work in high places and confined spaces
Work outdoors and in all types of weather
Work safely and communicate effectively
Must be willing to train to advance into different job classifications

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Prior experience in a plant or similar environment helpful
Strong work ethic dependability and a high level of dedication to safety
Work primarily in a non-climate-controlled environment
Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from Supervisor verbally and in written form
