Job Summary
Do you like solving complex problems with a high degree of ownership and the ability to delight millions of customers Amazon is seeking an exceptional Vendor Manager to join our dynamic Furniture team and drive strategic vendor relationships. As a Vendor Manager youll be at the intersection of data strategy and relationship management responsible for delivering business growth alongside exceptional customer experiences. This dynamic role requires you to develop and execute strategic plans that expand product selection drive operational excellence and improve vendor terms all while enhancing the overall customer experience. * Drive Strategic Impact: Own end-to-end vendor relationships analyzing performance metrics to unlock growth opportunities and optimize profitability across your portfolio
* Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Supply Chain Account Management Finance Marketing and Product teams to execute integrated strategies that deliver exceptional customer experiences
* Lead with Data: Transform complex datasets into actionable insights that influence vendor negotiations
* Innovate Relentlessly: Challenge the status quo by identifying process improvements implementing scalable solutions and pioneering new approaches to vendor management
* Solve Complex Problems: Navigate ambiguous situations with minimal guidance making high-judgment decisions that balance vendor relationships with business objectives
- 3 years of with Excel experience
- 5 years of retail operations product or program management or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
- Bachelors degree
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
- Experience in vendor negotiations pricing and promotion inventory management and product development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
