Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Implement state rollouts for Guidewire BillingCenter and PolicyCenter products.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior Guidewire associates.
- Analyze client business needs assess technical feasibility and communicate requirements to offshore teams.
- Perform hands-on development work (configuration and integration) for PolicyCenter/BillingCenter releases.
- Coordinate with offshore teams to resolve production incidents.
- Review offshore development work related to PCF configuration business rules and data model creation.
- Manage and communicate team status and progress to management.
- Provide technical support for Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter in production environments.
- Collaborate with the team to analyze and resolve defects.
- Coordinate with service providers and integration owners to ensure application uptime.
- Utilize strong knowledge of Guidewire configuration including billing methods invoice structure workflows batch processes and more.
- Integrate with third-party platforms and work with databases (SQL Server or DB2).
- Utilize application servers such as WebSphere Apache Tomcat or JBOSS.
- Leverage 4 7 years of hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter modules.
- Demonstrate experience in Guidewire configuration integration and end-to-end implementation.
- Develop using Guidewire Gosu code and APIs (methods rules processes).
- Work with web services (WSDL SOAP XML REST).
- Hold Guidewire PolicyCenter/BillingCenter certification.
- Use code versioning systems (e.g. SVN).
- Multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members; proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
