We are seeking a Java NiFi Technical SME to join our team. This role will involve designing implementing and managing data-flow and ETL pipelines using NiFi and related technologies in a cloud/enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in NiFi architecture data integration/ETL SQL/databases programming (Java Python or scripting) big data systems (e.g. Kafka) and a passion for building scalable performant reliable data pipelines and integrations.

Job Description:

Design implement and maintain data flow solutions using NiFi including defining data sources destinations transformations routing and enrichment.
Manage data ingestion from various sources (files databases APIs) perform ETL/ELT and data modeling and ensure data is transformed into required formats for downstream consumption.
Configure NiFi for routing and enrichment - e.g. adding metadata (timestamps location) validating and conditioning data and directing it to appropriate destinations.
Manage and optimize NiFi clusters - configuration performance tuning troubleshooting ensuring scalability and reliability to handle varying data volumes and velocity.
Integrate NiFi workflows with big data technologies (e.g. Kafka) databases (SQL) and other relevant data stores or processing systems.
Utilize programming/scripting (Java Python or similar) to build custom processors or microservices for data conditioning validation transformation and support complex data workflows.
Ensure data flows integrations and pipelines are robust maintainable and performant.
Document NiFi configurations data flow designs ETL processes deployment and operational procedures; maintain knowledge-base and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements design data integration solutions and deliver high-quality data pipelines.
