Role Summary:
The GIS IT Security professional will be responsible for assessing monitoring and improving IT security measures across supplier and organizational systems. This role ensures compliance with security frameworks evaluates cyber risks and supports continuous improvement of the security program.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct cybersecurity assessments of suppliers and internal systems aligned with the supplier security control framework.

Evaluate IT controls perform risk assessments and identify gaps in security measures.
-
Drive risk remediations and improvements from previous audits or assessments.
-
Ensure successful completion of annual supplier cybersecurity assessments.
-
Advise and inform business leaders on supplier information security risks and recommend solutions.
-
Proactively plan and perform audit engagements focusing on security confidentiality data integrity and availability.
-
Identify opportunities to innovate and improve the IT security program and its value delivery to the organization.
Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of IT controls risk assessment and cybersecurity principles.

Understanding of networking concepts and data protection practices.
-
Ability to analyze data identify problems and present conclusions effectively.
-
Excellent verbal written and presentation skills.
-
Familiarity with information security frameworks such as ISO 27001 NIST CSF.

Experience managing audits and security assessments in a supplier environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certifications such as CISA or CISM.

In-depth knowledge of security assessment audit principles.

Proven experience in improving IT security programs and risk mitigation strategies.

Bachelors degree in Science Engineering or a technical discipline.
