About the Role
Due to the award of several new projects we are seeking experienced Health and Safety Advisors to support multiple infrastructure works across Western Australias South West region. This full-time role involves partnering with project teams to ensure compliance with workplace health and safety obligations promote best practice and enhance the safety culture across operational sites.
The role is MondayFriday with occasional weekend work and periodic travel or working away from home depending on project needs.
Key Responsibilities
Support project teams in implementing HSE policies standards and initiatives
Deliver training coaching and communication to reinforce safe work practices
Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to developing safety solutions
Assist managers in preparing and reviewing HSE plans and risk registers
Oversee subcontractor HSE compliance including SWMS inductions permits and daily checks
Participate in pre-starts audits field inspections and safety reviews
Support incident investigations and reporting processes
Promote a strong and positive safety culture across project workforces
Requirements
Qualifications in Work Health and Safety Occupational Health or similar
Experience in a safety role within the Tier 1 construction rail or resource sector
Strong judgment and ability to identify risks issues and practical solutions
Ability to work independently across multiple project locations
Certificate IV Training & Assessment (highly regarded)
Lead incident investigation accreditation (ICAM or equivalent)
Rail systems experience essential
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
