Job Summary
The Department of Physics & Astronomy ( in the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Kentucky in Lexington KY seeks to fill a tenure-eligible faculty position at the Assistant Professor level with expertise in the field of Theoretical Physics. This is a 9-month position in the regular title series with an anticipated start date of August 1 2025. We encourage candidates whose research portfolios include work on applications of quantum information theory broadly defined to quantum many-body physics quantum field theory or quantum gravity to apply. A Ph.D. in Physics or a related field is required. A record of research excellence is expected.
