Equinox is seeking a Front Desk Manager on Duty (MOD) to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced customer-focused environment and wants to make a significant impact in a growing and dynamic organization. As a Front Desk MOD you will be entrusted with operational responsibilities that ensure the club runs smoothly and securely during your shift.
- Act as the Manager on Duty (MOD): Serve as the primary point of contact for all front desk operations during assigned shifts.
- Keyholder Duties:
- Open and/or close the club in accordance with company standards and security protocols.
- Leadership & Team Support:
- Coach motivate and lead front desk associates to deliver exceptional service.
- Assist the Assistant General Manager (AGM) with onboarding and training staff.
- Member Experience:
- Provide the highest level of customer service to members prospective members and guests.
- Professionally greet members and guests scan membership IDs and manage account updates.
- Operational Excellence:
- Answer phones promptly and courteously.
- Maintain an organized and welcoming lobby environment.
- Respond to member inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to all club policies health and safety standards and emergency procedures.
Qualifications :
To perform this job successfully an individual should meet the following minimum requirements and qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service.
- Prior supervisory or keyholder experience in retail hospitality or fitness preferred.
- Reliable professional computer literate energetic and friendly.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
- Passion for health fitness and/or sports.
- Must be available for opening and/or closing shifts and flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency for account management and reporting.
