We are a rapidly growing freight brokerage in Royal Oak seeking an experienced Freight Sales Account Executive to help expand our shipper base. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with a strong understanding of transportation markets and a hunter mentality who enjoys building long-term customer relationships.
What Youll Do
Prospect identify and acquire new shipping customers (B2B)
Quote freight and negotiate pricing with shippers and carrier partners
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools
Maintain consistent communication with customers to understand freight needs
Deliver high-quality service to both shippers and carriers
Meet or exceed sales targets and activity metrics
Adapt sales strategies based on market conditions
Attend occasional in-person meetings with prospects and decision-makers
What Were Looking For
Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience
Prior experience in freight trucking brokerage or logistics sales (FTL preferred)
Strong negotiation communication and relationship-building skills
Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook)
Self-motivated proactive and results-driven mindset
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced office-based sales environment
