- Oversee all aspects of civil construction activities including structural architectural and finishing works for large infrastructure buildings.
- Ensure that construction works are executed as per approved designs specifications and project schedules.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety quality and performance standards.
- Monitor daily site activities and resolve technical or operational issues during construction.
- Review and interpret civil designs drawings and specifications for large infrastructure buildings.
- Ensure proper integration of civil works with other disciplines such as mechanical electrical and plumbing systems.
- Provide technical guidance on construction methodologies and material selection.
- Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards such as NBC IS codes and other relevant guidelines.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations environmental guidelines and quality standards.
- Implement sustainable practices in construction to meet green building requirements.
- Monitor construction quality and ensure that all works meet project specifications and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and rectify any deviations.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation including test reports and compliance checklists.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation including progress reports test reports and as-built drawings.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering (mandatory).
- Masters degree in civil engineering or construction management (preferred)
Additional Information :
- Certification in construction management or green building practices (e.g. LEED AP PMP or equivalent).
- Experience in managing civil works in live environments such as operational airports or malls.
- Strong problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage on-site teams and contractors.
