- Oversee the installation testing and commissioning of PHE and HVAC systems on-site.
- Ensure that all mechanical works are executed as per approved designs specifications and project schedules.
- Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety quality and performance standards.
- Monitor daily site activities and resolve any technical or operational issues that arise during construction.
- Review and interpret mechanical designs drawings and specifications for PHE and HVAC systems.
- Ensure proper integration of mechanical systems with other disciplines such as electrical and civil works.
- Provide technical guidance on the selection of equipment and materials for PHE and HVAC systems.
- Implement energy-efficient and sustainable practices in PHE and HVAC system design and execution.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Supervise the testing and commissioning of PHE and HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.
- Identify and resolve any issues during the commissioning phase ensuring systems meet project requirements.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including architects civil engineers and electrical engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Coordinate with vendors suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
Additional Information :
- Certification in HVAC or PHE systems (e.g. LEED AP Certified Energy Manager or equivalent).
- Experience in managing mechanical systems in live environments such as operational airports or malls.
- Strong problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage on-site teams and contractors.
