Mechanical Engineer – PHE & HVAC (Project SupervisionConstruction Management)

• Oversee the installation testing and commissioning of PHE and HVAC systems on-site. 
• Ensure that all mechanical works are executed as per approved designs specifications and project schedules. 
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure adherence to safety quality and performance standards. 
• Monitor daily site activities and resolve any technical or operational issues that arise during construction.
• Review and interpret mechanical designs drawings and specifications for PHE and HVAC systems. 
• Ensure proper integration of mechanical systems with other disciplines such as electrical and civil works. 
• Provide technical guidance on the selection of equipment and materials for PHE and HVAC systems.
• Implement energy-efficient and sustainable practices in PHE and HVAC system design and execution. 
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Supervise the testing and commissioning of PHE and HVAC systems to ensure proper functionality and performance. 
• Identify and resolve any issues during the commissioning phase ensuring systems meet project requirements.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including architects civil engineers and electrical engineers to ensure seamless project execution. 
• Coordinate with vendors suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 
• Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).

Additional Information :

• Certification in HVAC or PHE systems (e.g. LEED AP Certified Energy Manager or equivalent). 
• Experience in managing mechanical systems in live environments such as operational airports or malls. 
• Strong problem-solving analytical and decision-making skills. 
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage on-site teams and contractors.
