Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Lead for a Construction Project in the Biotech/Life Science sector to join our team in Dublin this crucial role you will be responsible for identifying assessing and mitigating risks associated with complex construction projects in the dynamic biotech and life science industry.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies for biotech/life science construction projects
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyses to identify potential issues and opportunities
  • Create and maintain risk registers ensuring regular updates and communication with project stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project managers engineers and other team members to develop risk mitigation plans
  • Monitor and report on risk status providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards in the biotech/life science sector
  • Develop and implement risk management training programmes for project team members
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management processes and methodologies
  • Manage budgets and resources related to risk management activities
  • Liaise with external partners contractors and regulatory bodies as needed

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Construction Management or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in risk management for construction projects with a focus on the biotech/life science sector
  • Professional certifications such as PMP PRINCE2 or recognised risk management qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of risk assessment and management techniques
  • Strong understanding of construction industry processes and biotech/life science regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting with the ability to present complex information clearly
  • Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management and communication
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and cost control in construction projects
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools for risk management and project planning
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive decision-making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
