Job Summary
The Ford Motor Company ITSupplier Operations & Connectivity Servicesteam provides services guidance and support to Ford IT Suppliers and Ford IT Project & Service teams in establishing supplier connectivity obtaining technical support and ensuring appropriate controls for suppliers working from a Supplier Facilities and is an exciting opportunity to work with Ford IT teams Suppliers Purchasing Finance and IT Leadership at all levels globally to ensure suppliers can readily access Ford environments to provide software development and maintenance services.
Responsibilities
The IT Supplier Operations & Connectivity Analyst will:
- Be accountable for flawless Onboarding and Offboarding of Supplier Teams for ET projects
- Guide connectivity options for new projects and/or suppliers
- Advocate security and control requirements to PDO teams and Suppliers
- Provide resolution for any connectivity and client requests / issues
- Coordinate technology migration initiatives
- Prepare and present scorecard metrics etc.
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities including process simplification and automation
- Co-ordinate with Automation teams for Proof of Concept (POC) dashboard creation etc.
- Contribute toEnd-to-End sourcing process improvement opportunities in collaboration with entire Sourcing team
Qualifications
- B. Tech / Computer Science or any equivalent degree
- Understanding of Networks Remote Access Connectivity and general IT Operations
- Some basic understanding about SharePoint workflow
- Customer focused and continuous improvement mindset
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently and actively contributing to a collaborative environment and fostering strong working relationships
Nice to Have:
- Understanding of Information Security Policies
- Experience working with suppliers sourcing process
- Tickets handling using ServiceNow platform
