Job Summary
The Opportunity
Downers Energy & Utilities business is seeking an experienced Zero Harm Advisor to join our SE QLD Water team supporting the Urban Utilities contract. This role supports the Zero Harm leadership team in leading developing and providing expert advice on Downers Zero Harm culture and compliance with legislative requirements. You will play a key role in driving safety performance and fostering a strong Zero Harm culture across our projects in Brisbane.
Please note we are seeking applications from candidates local to the Brisbane CBD with the ability to attend our office and sites across this area.
What Were Looking For
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with:
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in WHS/OHS. Certificate IV in Training & Assessment desirable.
- Experience: Previous experience in civil construction infrastructure or similar industries. Strong background in safety culture development and auditing standards (AS4801 ISO45001 ISO14001 ISO9001).
- Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of safety requirements and legislation.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to lead investigations (ICAM or similar).
- Attributes: Collaborative self-motivated and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
