ALPHA INFRA PROJECTS SERVICES LLP is looking for a dedicated Purchase Executive to join our Purchase department in Ahmedabad. This full-time on-site position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our procurement operations within the civil engineering industry.
As a Purchase Executive you will play a vital role in sourcing and purchasing materials ensuring that our projects run smoothly and efficiently. Your expertise will help us maintain quality standards and optimize costs while supporting our commitment to delivering outstanding civil engineering solutions.
We offer a competitive salary range of 25000 - 50000 annually along with a supportive work environment that fosters professional development and growth within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers for construction materials and services
- Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure favorable pricing
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier information
- Collaborate with project managers to understand material requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and manage reordering processes
- Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures
- Analyze market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities
- Assist in the resolution of any procurement-related issues
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within the civil engineering sector
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset
- Knowledge of civil engineering materials and their specifications is a plus
