This is a remote position.
We are looking for a dedicated Client Payments Support Specialist to join our Payment Operations this role you will be responsible for managing and processing client payment requests while ensuring accuracy compliance and adherence to internal policies. You will also support our Contact Centre by helping clients providers and funding organisations resolve payment issues quickly to maintain smooth and uninterrupted service delivery.
This position encompasses a range of payment support functions including customer assistance finance administration accounts receivable tasks payment allocation and the daily operational duties required to monitor and manage client payment instructions. You will also play a key role in completing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities
Process and manage incoming communications related to payments invoicing and account enquiries.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients providers and internal stakeholders.
Ensure all incoming funds are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
Update and maintain client information and financial records with precision.
Provide cross-functional assistance to the broader Finance team as required.
Allocate and reconcile payments ensuring they match customer invoices across multiple payment platforms.
Perform daily bank reconciliations and promptly investigate and resolve discrepancies.
Process direct debits and other banking transactions efficiently.
Assist customers with complex or escalated payment issues providing clear empathetic and solution-focused support via email and phone.
Skills Knowledge & Experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Intermediate Excel skills (advantageous).
Ability to manage escalations with professionalism and empathy.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong relationship-building capabilities with both clients and colleagues.
Ability to multitask work under pressure and meet daily and long-term deadlines.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.

Biweekly salary of $750 AUD
Based on an average of 20 hours of work per fortnight
