Job Summary

This is a remote position.

Summary

The Delivery People is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Billing & Order Entry Coordinator with experience in domestic U.S. transportation. This role ensures accurate customer billing timely order entry and support for quoting activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized knowledgeable in freight and logistics billing practices and comfortable working in a fast-paced customer-focused environment.


Responsibilities

Billing

  • Generate accurate invoices based on shipment details and rate agreements.

  • Review completed delivery paperwork for accuracy and billable accessorial charges.

  • Ensure all billing is completed on time (daily/weekly cycles).

  • Resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams or customers.

Order Entry

  • Enter domestic freight orders into the TMS or internal systems.

  • Ensure all shipment details are complete (weight dimensions service type etc.).

  • Maintain order accuracy to prevent service or billing issues.

Quote Support

  • Assist with entering rate quotes into the system.

  • Follow up on incomplete quote requests or missing information.

  • Collaborate with sales and operations to ensure quote accuracy and timeliness.


Qualifications

  • 1 year of billing or order entry experience in transportation/logistics.

  • Strong understanding of U.S. domestic freight (LTL FTL or air).

  • Excellent data entry skills and high accuracy.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

  • Familiarity with TMS or ERP platforms preferred.

  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets rate tables and documentation.

  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with accessorial charges fuel surcharges and freight billing terms.

  • Background in both order entry and billing for a freight forwarder or 3PL.

  • Basic understanding of quoting processes and customer pricing models.


Job Requirements
Willing to work under a long-term work-from-home arrangement.
Amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
