Primary Responsibilities
The BDC Representative is essential for driving dealership traffic and growth by managing all inbound and outbound customer communications with the goal of setting quality appointments for the Sales department.
* Lead Management: Promptly handle and respond to all incoming internet leads phone calls text messages and chat inquiries for Sales.
* Appointment Setting: Execute persuasive follow-up strategies to convert leads into confirmed showroom or service appointments.
* Customer Communication: Conduct professional friendly and informative outbound calls (prospecting follow-up and CSI calls) to previous current and prospective customers.
* CRM Expertise: Accurately log all customer contact notes and activity in our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
* Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of all new Volkswagen models features pricing and current promotions/incentives.
* Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Managers to ensure a seamless and world-class customer experience from the first contact to the final sale.
* Goal Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed daily weekly and monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) for calls contacts and appointments set.
Qualifications & Skills
* Proven Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a BDC call center customer service or high-volume sales environment (Automotive experience is a significant plus).
* Communication Powerhouse: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a confident energetic and professional phone presence.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills including experience with a CRM system and Microsoft Office Suite.

* Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid drivers license.
