What will you do as a Key Account Manager
LMI Technologies is the global leader in 3D Smart Sensor technology. We are looking for a Technical Key Account Manager to manage our critical relationships with OEMs System Integrators (SIs) and Distributors in the region. You are a Technical Account Manager who can walk into a facility understand the automation challenge and deploy our Machine Vision technology to solve it.
Please note: This is a technical hardware sales role involving industrial automation. It is NOT an IT/SaaS or Inside Sales position.Typical Duties Activities Responsibilities:- Consultative Solution Selling: Visit client factories (OEMs/End Users) to evaluate production lines and recommend specific 2D/3D Sensor and Machine Vision solutions for quality inspection.
- Strategic Account Growth: Manage and grow high-value accounts (Automotive Electronics General Manufacturing). You will own the relationship from the Maintenance Manager to the R&D Head.
- Commercial Execution: Manage the full sales cycle with less hand holding technical qualification solution demonstration proposal/quotation and negotiation.
- CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate forecasting and customer profiles in the CRM. Analyze win/loss data to refine sales strategies.
- Tech Updates: Constantly upgrade knowledge on new 3D laser triangulation and structured light technologies to act as a trusted advisor to clients.
What do you need to be successful
- Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of Field Sales experience targeting the Industrial Automation sector. You must have a track record of selling to SPM Builders (Special Purpose Machines) OEMs and System Integrators.
- Education: B.E. / in Electronics Instrumentation Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering or related field experience.
- Technical Domain: Working knowledge of Machine Vision or Sensors. You must be comfortable discussing Field of View Microns and Trigger Logic with Automation Engineers.
- Channel Management: Demonstrated experience managing distributor networks and driving revenue through channel partners.
