Job Summary

Location: A remote position with Corporate Headquarters in Smyrna TN. The role includes extensive travel to customer sites.

Department: Sales / Business Development-US Sales. Report to Global Sales Director.


Compensation and Benefits:


Pay Range: $60000 - $75000 per year plus performance-based incentives.

About the Role

Were seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to lead client relationships and drive software sales within the automotive sector. This role blends strategic account management with consultative selling focusing on delivering software solutions to OEMs Tier 1 and 2 Suppliers and Logistics Companies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Client Relationship Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for automotive clients ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
    • Develop deep understanding of client business models strategic goals pain points and needs.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
    • Work with the Sales Engineer and customer to determine the best fit for our solutions
    • Collaborate with each customer to create tailored account development plans securing customer approval to ensure a deep understanding of their business objectives and strategic direction.
    • Facilitate and lead quarterly business reviews.
    • Expand stakeholder engagement within each account and develop a multi- touchpoint communication strategy per account.
    • Negotiate contracts and pricing.
  • Account Growth & Retention
    • Drive to improve the organizations market position and achieve financial growth.
    • Drive revenue through upsell and cross-sell initiatives across Insequences portfolio.
    • Monitor account health usage metrics and renewal cycles to ensure retention and expansion.
  • Industry Expertise & Collaboration
    • Stay informed on market dynamics automotive trends and regulatory shifts that shape the industry.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution from pre-sales to delivery.



Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in B2B software sales preferably within the automotive industry.
  • A BA/BS or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • Business software experience including CRM and Microsoft Office 365 including Word Outlook Excel Monday Visio etc.
  • A valid drivers license and the ability to get a passport.
  • The ability to pass a background and drug test.
  • Strong team culture and ethics.
  • Strong understanding of automotive business models and digital ecosystems.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

  • Recent and relevant B2B sales experience ideally selling Software Solutions in the automotive sector and logistics sector.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Multilingual capabilities or international sales experience is a plus.
