As an Assistant Retail Store Manager at Telstra youll work closely with the Store Manager to coach and grow your team. Youll use your management experience to help coach our retail consultants to success making sure theyre driven and energised to reach and exceed store targets.
What youll do
Oversee the induction of your new team members
Coach the stores team to meet (and exceed) store targets
Help support your team with customer query escalations
Be the Store Managers right-hand person stepping up to act as Store Manager when needed
Executing business initiatives in store to meet financial and customer key metrics.
Act as team cheer leader leading from the front and helping to motivate the team and foster an awesome store culture
Organise the store floor and teams work schedules to meet customer demand.
About you
You have previous experience in a retail leadership / assistant management role
Youre able to energise and drive a retail team to exceed sales targets and KPIs with demonstrated success
You lead from the front and are able to influence and build rapport with a diverse and varied team
Youre able to resolve customer issues with your eyes closed and can put a creative spin on problem solving
Youre an excellent communicator who can help support the Store Manager in taking team members through change.
