The Business Development Manager will be responsible to assist the General Manager in developmental sales within the industries portfolio in Brisbane. Along with new business this role is responsible for maintaining client satisfaction and growing existing customer business in technical services.
Other responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:
- Develop new business growth strategies and sales plans.
- Manage product development and revenue streams
- Develop sufficient technical knowledge within portfolio to be able to identify new opportunities and markets.
- Maintain industry knowledge to Subject Matter Expert level.
- Work collaboratively across sales teams to identify revenue opportunities through cross-sell and value-add initiatives while sharing insights opportunities and key learnings.
- Provide mentorship and guidance both technical and commercial to others in the team.
- Ensure quality work by self and identify professional development needs of self and staff.
- Participate in industry events including trade shows conferences and conventions.
- May be assigned special or related ad hoc projects from time-to-time.
Qualifications :
- Appropriate tertiary qualification
- Sound commercial management experience
- Business Acumen
- Customer Management experience
- Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
- Availability to travel to remote regional and interstate loctions
