Central Tablelands Local Land Services is seeking expressions of interest from applicants to act in the role of Team Leader Agricultural Services 12 months with a proposed start date of Monday 19 January 2026.
Location negotiable across the Central Tablelands region with options for flexible work that balances time both in and out of region.
About the Role:
This exciting role of Team Leader Agricultural Services is an opportunity to lead a team of professionals working directly with land managers and industry stakeholders across the Central Tablelands Local Land Services region.
In this role you will;
Youll work with them to manage finances and delivery targets to respond real-time to changing customer needs and support them to make sound and accountable decisions that deliver outcomes.
Youll work 1-on-1 with each of them providing coaching and development support as well as setting high standards for safety accountability and quality through trusted leadership approaches.
Youll maintain and build a vibrant and collaborative team culture that sees all team members engaged and supporting each other. An environment where their goals are clear they are resilient to change and they collaborate proactively.
You may need to lead recruitment on boarding and workforce planning activities to ensure we can deliver on our outcomes and investor commitments.
This will include allocation of financial resources design of project teams collaboration with other functional teams setting of delivery metrics and milestones and adoption of learnings from previous years. This will require sound project delivery understanding and leadership experience.
As part of the design of the Central Tablelands Annual Business Plan you will need to oversee the development of Agricultural Annual Focus Areas. These focuses guide the development of projects and services in a way that are informed by environmental contexts stakeholder needs and alignment to the Strategic Plan. This will require strategic thinking and collaboration with the leadership team and Board.
To be successful you will need to be proactive in how you engage and participate in Leadership team meetings supporting and fostering effective cross-team collaboration that leads to better Agricultural Biosecurity Pest Management and Natural Resource outcomes.
