The Opportunity

Our Lysaght business is looking for an Operations Team Member to join the Production Team based in Townsville. Made in Australia since 1921 Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes to large commercial and industrial projects.

Our Team Members are at the heart of our operations playing a key role in creating innovative solutions for our customers. Youll work with cutting-edge machinery ensuring the highest quality standards while prioritising safety for both yourself and the team. If youre looking for secure work paid training a supportive team and work-life balance this could be the opportunity youve been waiting for.

Youll work on a rotating roster across Day and Afternoon Shift with shorter Fridays built in supporting a work-life balance:

• Day Shift: 6:00am 2:00pm (Mon-Thu) 6:00am 12:00pm (Fri)
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm 10:00pm (Mon-Thu) 2:00pm 6:00pm (Fri)

What Will You Do

As part of our supportive team youll play a hands-on role in producing high-quality steel building products that are used across Australia. Your day may include:

• operating processing machinery (training provided)
• loading and unloading steel products safely
• manual handling tasks including packing and strapping customer orders to specification
• learning to operate forklifts and gantry cranes
• supporting your teammates to keep production running smoothly and safely
