Job Summary
Description
RPO Recruitments client a reputable and long-standing company in Cape Town is seeking a motivated Junior to Mid-Level Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be analytical organised and eager to grow within a professional and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with cost estimating tender preparation and project budgeting
- Measure and quantify works from drawings and on-site assessments
- Analyse technical documents drawings and specifications
- Prepare progress reports cost tracking and financial documentation
- Support the senior QS team with contract administration and procurement
- Liaise with suppliers contractors and internal project teams
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and in line with company standards
Requirements:
- BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying
- Working knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems is advantageous
- Valid drivers licence and reliable own transport
- Strong computer literacy including proficiency in MS Excel and other Microsoft packages
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- High attention to detail with a methodical and professional approach to work
- Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and project specifications
