About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Project Manager to oversee the facilities scope for a major gas pipeline project in British Columbia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale gas facility programs including both greenfield and brownfield projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the facilities scope of the project from detailed design through completion ensuring adherence to project scope budget and schedule.
- Coordinate with internal teams contractors and external stakeholdersincluding regulatory agencies and Indigenous communitiesto ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with all safety environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of project plans schedules and budgets and monitor project performance.
- Implement risk management strategies to proactively mitigate project risks.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineering and support staff.
- Foster strong relationships with senior management external partners and customers.
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Additional Assets (Preferred):
- Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (MBA) or equivalent
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Professional Engineer (.) designation
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of project management experience
- Proven track record managing large-scale multidisciplinary projects including gas compression facilities
- Extensive experience in stakeholder management particularly with Indigenous communities and regulatory agencies
- Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing project budgets
- Strong background in safety leadership environmental management and regulatory compliance
