Reporting to the Manager CM&I ML & ILI theRegionalConstruction Manager- Facilitiesprovidesoversight and support tofield-basedConstruction Managers and Inspectors as well asoccasionallyproviding directsupervision and direction tocontractorconstruction crews performingfacilityconstruction andmaintenanceactivitiesonmeasurement & compression facilities in Central & Eastern Canada.

Communicate and collaboratefrequentlywithManager Resource Coordinator peerRegionalConstruction ManagersSubject Mater ExpertsProject Managers Construction Managers and Inspectorsto carefully select theoptimalConstruction Management & Inspection teamsfor variousprojects.
Provide input to Project Managers on constructabilityscheduleand cost estimates to support the efficient planning & execution ofvariousmeasurement & compression facilitiesprojects.
Participate in pre-construction site visits with Project ManagersContractorsand Engineering.
Regularly visit project sitesacrossCentral and Eastern Regionsto assess safety and quality performance as well as adherence to the Companys policies and procedures.
Identifyand implement opportunities to improve process efficiency and reduce project life cycle costs.
Work with peerRegionalConstruction Managersto drive collaboration consistency andcommunication withprojectandconstructionteams.
Provide mentorship and coaching to Construction Managers Assistant Construction Managers and other field-level Inspection and Administration staff.
Participate inengineering reviewslessons learnedandcloseout meetings.
Occasionally supervise and manage the execution of projects in the field.
Possibility of short / long term field assignments.
Minimum Qualifications
PhysicallyresideinCentral or Eastern Canada (Saskatchewan ManitobaOntarioor Quebec)onor beforethe first dayof work.
15years ofdirectlyrelatedConstruction Management/Chief Inspectoror Superintendentexperience withmeasurement & compression facilitiesprojects.
High School Diploma or GED.
An equivalent combination of education and related work experience may be considered.
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite P6etc.).
ValidAPI 1169Pipeline InspectorCertification.
Valid API 1184Pipeline Facility Construction Inspector.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (English & French).
Demonstrated leadershipcoachingand motivational skills within afacilitiesconstruction/maintenanceenvironment.
Proven time management organizational and planning skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage conflict.
Technical trades certificationor Post Secondary Diploma in a related field.
ASP Construction (Quebec) Certification.
This position requires candidates to:
The regular work schedule will be 17&4 (15 working days 1 travel day 4 days off 1 travel day)or 6&1 (6workingdayand 1 day off). Occasional deviation from this schedule may be.
Have andmaintaina valid class 5 drivers license and provide a drivers abstract for review.
Successfully complete a pre-employment medical screeningto includedrug and alcohol testing.
Travel to other company locations for temporary assignmentsmeetingsor training (estimated up to90% of work schedule).
