Customer Deal Desk Specialist III
An ideal candidate has a strong work ethic and is able to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
The role requires outstanding verbal and written communication both internally and externally. You must have effectively handled situations where internal policies/approvals are not clear and require additional research critical thinking and problem solving skills.
You also need great collaboration skills and the ability to see the big picture in order to improve the organization with constructive feedback. You will be responsible for bringing multiple stakeholders together (e.g. Sales Legal Business Approvers Operations) to implement the most strategic and valued transactions within the company. You will work long hours under pressure with a very close-knit team. You will go through daily challenges as an individual and as a team building strong relationships through shared experiences all while working independently and maintaining autonomy.

What youll bring:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in drafting and negotiating complex Federal Public Sector and Commercial contracts.
- Prior experience in high tech industry systems integrator consulting or professional services industry preferred.
- Prior experience with Veteran Affairs Department of Defense and/or Intelligence Community preferred.
- Excellent written verbal interpersonal and analytical communication skills.
- Organized detail oriented and time management skills.
- Experience drafting and negotiating complex contractual documents.
- Ability to work effectively under time critical deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
ResponsibilitiesThe Customer Deal Desk Specialist III leads and manages the contracting process end-to-end for strategic complex transactions that meet regional criteria requiring Customer Deal Desk Specialist III involvement. The Customer Deal Desk Specialist III sets the overall direction for his/her assigned managed deal(s) and is responsible for the successful execution of the contracting process ensuring consistency and adherence with Oracle strategy commitments and goals as well as compliance with Oracle policies and procedures. The Customer Deal Desk Specialist III facilitates and co-coordinates discussion amongst Sales and multiple Oracle functional stakeholders (i.e. Customer Deal Desk RevRec Finance Legal OFD Business Practices Migrations Order Management etc.) to reach agreement on contracting terms in order to solve complex contracting scenarios and meet the specific needs of his/her assigned managed deal(s).
What youll do:
- Project manage complex contractual documents including but not limited to Master Agreements and Orders for customers and/or suppliers across Federal Public Sector and Commercial segments in North America and globally.
- Monitor contract and business terms to mitigate Oracles risk.
- Assist customers and/or suppliers both internal and external with contract interpretation negotiations and administration of contractual documents including new business extensions and terminations.
- Validate all aspects of contract packages for accuracy and compliance with Oracles Business Practices and Business Approvals/Process while maintaining customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
- Anticipate problems and initiate actions to ensure contractual documents are processed efficiently.
- Prepare contractual documents status reports.
- Leading contributor individually and as a team member on assigned managed deal(s)
- Work is non-routine and complex involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in multiple lines of business.
