About the Role
Elder Needs Law is seeking aRemote Medicaid Outreach Specialistto support ourSenior Medicaid Case Managerthroughout the Medicaid application and case management process. This role is ideal for a highly organized detail-oriented professional who excels at follow-up document coordination and client communication.
This position plays a key role in keeping Medicaid cases moving forward smoothly while maintaining the firms high standard of professionalism discretion and empathy.
Key Responsibilities
- Request track and organize client documentation including financial medical and legal records
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files in the firms case management system
- Draft proofread and format correspondence and supporting documents under the direction of the Case Manager
- Communicate with clients caregivers and third-party providers to follow up on outstanding items
- Monitor deadlines and assist with tracking case progress to ensure applications and filings stay on schedule
- Coordinate and schedule meetings calls and document review sessions
- Provide general administrative support including data entry scanning and digital filing
- Deliver courteous professional and compassionate service in every client interaction
Qualifications
- Prior experience in an administrative legal assistant or case management support role
- Elder law or Medicaid experience is a plus butnot required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) and document management tools
- Comfortable learning new software and systems quickly
- Self-motivated reliable and effective in a remote work environment
- High level of discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
- Professional demeanor and genuine commitment to supporting seniors and their families
Technology & Work Requirements
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook Word Excel)
- Zoom
- CRM or case management software (Lawmatics experience is a plus)
- Ability to maintain a fully equipped home office including:
- Desktop or laptop computer
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Phone access
