About the Role
As a Community Access Manager you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and where applicable their families.
Your Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Leadership: Lead a dedicated team of disability support workers providing high-intensity support to clients.
- Performance Management: Ensure the overall performance of the service aligns with annual work plans and meets established targets.
- Person-Directed Support: Promote person-directed support and community participation that exceeds minimum disability standards all within available resources.
- Operational Excellence: Manage the day-to-day operations of supported accommodation services surpassing identified Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Support Excellence: Provide high-quality support to customers and their families offering management support to care staff.
- Please note that this role includes a component of rostered after-hours on-call duty.
About You
To be successful in this role youll share Yoorallas Values and have:
- Management Experience: Demonstrated management experience preferably within a community services environment.
- Sector Knowledge: Understanding of legislation and standards relevant to the disability sector.
- Person-Centred Approach: Knowledge and understanding of how to support staff in implementing contemporary and person-centred approaches to uphold the rights and support needs of individuals with disabilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Resource Management: Demonstrated ability to manage financial and staff resources within a complex environment.
- Initiative and Organization: Excellent initiative self-directed work practices and highly developed organizational skills.
- A relevant qualification and/or significant experience in the human services area
