The opportunity:

You will be part of the GA Secondary team Your work involves supporting site testing and commissioning activities for Control & Protection systems. Your primary responsibilities include creating IED configuration files developing test procedures preparing test templates and providing on-site support during FAT and SAT. As an individual contributor you are expected to complete tasks within the scheduled timelines while collaborating effectively with colleagues when required. You may need to interact with counterparts to clarify queries and ensure smooth execution. Additionally you may engage with other departments such as Engineering Project Management and Production Team as needed.

How youll make an impact:

• Act as Testing & commissioning engineer for medium to high complex projects. Responsible for commissioning and troubleshooting of Bay level secondary equipments for domestic customers.

• Should know Concept of stability (Line Transformer & Bus Bar). Able to do Fault analysis.

• Line Differential - End to End test.

• Manage the commissioning activities to ensure quality timely delivery within targeted costs. Ensure implementation design changes in commissioning and the production of Red Marked up and as built project documentation.

• Support continuous improvement of project process/product/system design.

• Maintain quality service by following organization standards. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Maintain good communication and collaboration with stake holders. 100% of the role needs travelling and willingness to travel extensively including assignments arranged at short notice and on an irregular basis.

• Adhering to applicable codes practices QA/QC policies performance standards and specifications.

• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background:

• Bachelors degree in B.E / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

• Must have 2-5 years of experience.

• Excellent knowledge in IEDs configuration and testing very good knowledge of Protection & Control Systems for T & D / Gen.

• Familiarity with codes and applicable standards like IEC IEEE ANSI etc.

• Knowledge on Bay level control & Protection softwares such as PCM REB500 HMI all versions. Knowledge on test kit such as Omicron (CMC 356 & 256) Doble & other test kit.

• Knowledge on other manufacturer IED application softwares such as Digsi Micom S1 Agile etc.

• Willing to travel for site testing and commissioning activities.Ability to work autonomously and as a part of team and maintain professionalism.

• Good communication(proficiency in English & Hindi language is required) and interpersonal skills.
