Job Summary

As an Area Repairs Manager at Amplius youll take the lead in guiding a dedicated team of Surveyors to deliver high-quality repairs and empty homes services across the region. Youll champion a customer-first approach drive strong performance and ensure real value for money. Alongside overseeing our supply chain partners youll support innovation across the service and help build a culture of continuous improvement through thoughtful coaching training and performance management.


Salary: 54658 per year

Contract: Permanent full time

Your week: 36.25 hours (Monday to Friday 9am 5:15pm)

Location: Hybrid with a weekly presence in either ourPeterborough Rushden Boston or Milton Keynes office

Snapshot of your role

  • Lead and support the team to monitor contractor performance ensuring quality timeliness and value and address any underperformance promptly.
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all contract administration and reporting data continually improving auditing and reporting processes.
  • Extract and analyse data from core systems to support contract management and informed decision-making.
  • Support budget forecasting monitoring and control recommending remedial action where needed.
  • Ensure services meet customer and stakeholder expectations with clear communication and timely responses to enquiries and escalations.
  • Oversee sensitive and robust complaint handling using feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Promote collaborative working across teams while ensuring health safety and risk management requirements are met.
  • Lead by example to manage team performance uphold consistent standards and represent Amplius with internal and external stakeholders.

Your toolkit for success

  • Solid knowledge of repairs and maintenance in social housing including health safety and risk compliance.
  • Experience leading remote teams and managing performance effectively.
  • Ability to interpret data to identify risks opportunities and performance trends.
  • Skilled in managing resources and budgets to deliver cost-effective customer-focused services.
  • Able to engage and empower colleagues lead change and work flexibly with empathy for Amplius aims.

A full UK driving license is essential for this role.

DBS clearance is required for this role.
