Job Title:Senior Software Engineer

Location:Brisbane Australia (Hybrid)

The job

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to join our international R&D team to develop and enhance our RIB CostX software. This is a unique opportunity to work on a critical product within amixed C# and Delphi environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong C# developer with a pragmatic approach anda willingness to develop expertise in Delphi.

Key responsibilities

Work on continuous improvement and new functionality software projects
System analysis design coding and unit testing
Development of applications that mainly run on desktop environment
Work closely with others in an Agile international R&D software development team
Actively participate in daily scrums and team meetings.

Essential requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experiencein C# and ecosystem
Strong experience and knowledge in building desktop applications
Willingness to learn and work within a mixed C# and Delphi development environment.
Experience Good understanding of Object-oriented programming
Good command of spoken and written English is a must
Graduate degree or Higher Diploma in IT or a related discipline or experience in a similar role

Desired skills and competencies (Nice-to-Have)

Experience with Delphi is a plus.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Experience with PostgreSQL and/or T-SQL (SQL Server).
Experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
