The Role:Were seeking a visionary Head of Account Management to lead our AM team and own the post-sale customer lifecycle. Youll report directly to the CEO and partner with Customer Success Product and Sales to turn satisfied customers into raving fans and revenue engines.

This is a high-impact leadership role where youll shape strategy mentor top talent and deliver outsized results in a fast-paced collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development:Build coach and scale a high-performing AM team through hiring onboarding and performance management. Foster a culture of accountability innovation and customer obsession.
  • Strategic Account Oversight:Own net revenue retention targets expansion pipeline and churn reduction. Dive deep into key accounts to uncover upsell opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Process Playbook Mastery:Design and iterate on scalable AM playbooks for QBRs renewals expansions and health scoring. Leverage customer insights tools to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with Sales for seamless handoffs Product for roadmap feedback from customer insights and Marketing for case studies and advocacy programs.
  • Performance Metrics Reporting:Track and optimize KPIs including ARR expansion CSAT/NPS and AM quota attainment. Present quarterly business reviews to executive leadership.
  • Innovation Driver:Champion AI/ML integrations for proactive account health and personalized customer journeys staying ahead of HRIS trends.

What Were Looking For:

  • Proven Track Record:10 years in SaaS account management with 5 years in leadership roles at high-growth tech companies ideally HR/Business Operations related SaaS. Experience scaling AM teams and hitting multi-million dollar expansion goals.
  • Strategic Mindset: Deep expertise in customer lifecycle management with a bias for action and data-driven storytelling. Youve turned around underperforming books and built expansion engines from scratch.
  • HRIS Domain Knowledge:Passion for HR challenges; payroll & benefits complexity onboarding compliance and people data. Bonus: Experience with mid-market (50500 employees) customers is ideal.
  • Leadership DNA:Exceptional coach who attracts and retains A-players. Strong communicator with empathy for customer pain points and the grit to navigate tough renewals.
  • Tech Savvy:Proficient in CRM/CS tools and analytics. Comfortable with AI tools for predictive churn modeling.
  • Cultural Fit:Thrives in ambiguity values transparency and brings humor to high-stakes meetings. Youre collaborative resilient and obsessed with making customers successful.
