What will you do as a SHE Executive

As a SHE Executive you will check on SHE governance and legal and corporate compliance on Workplace Safety / Health and Environmental Protection. You will also coordinate the security-related matters of the terminal.

What do we expect from you as a SHE Executive

• Bachelors degree or Diploma in related field

• At least 5 years of experience in safety health & environment management in a similar industry

• Certified Workplace Safety & Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower

• Certified Fire Safety Manager with the Singapore Civil Defense Force

• Demonstrate exemplary SHE behavior and motivate others to follow

• Able to analyze and conduct critical thinking to identify gaps and improvements required

Your core responsibilities are:

• Drive the safety of the terminals operations and the achievement of the terminals annual SHE targets and plans

• Act as the terminals Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) Registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM) and Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) and perform these responsibilities including the coordination with the terminals security team

• Ensure the terminal operates with minimal impact to the environment and comply with legal environmental protection regulatory requirements

• Support the terminals SHE permits and licenses applications / renewals

• Coordinate the occupational health & industrial hygiene programs in the terminals

• Coordinate risk management and workplace inspections

• Report the terminals SHE performance and progress on improvements made

• Support the terminals SHE legal and internal training obligations for all employees and contracted workers

• Coordinate the terminals preparedness in emergency response through the organization and monitoring of emergency drills and exercises

• Implement the terminals SHE initiatives and Must-Win-Battles (MWBs)

• Support the terminals drive to achieve a proactive safety culture

• Engage contractors for their continual improvement in SHE performance

• Assist the terminal in the event of an emergency or crisis

• Prepare the required reports on the terminals SHE performance

• Ensure Permit to Work monitoring records etc. are updated and maintained

• Coordinate the annual training plans for terminal employees
