Role Overview:
At Huntsman were currently looking for a Procurement Manager Raw Materials to join our team in Krakow. You will manage key raw material categories ensuring cost efficiency innovation and secure supply across global operations. As Regional Procurement Lead for the Global Elastomer Platform you will align sourcing strategies with business needs and act as the link between global category management and regional stakeholders. You will also lead and develop two Category Leads in Krakow fostering collaboration and high performance.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Procurement Manager Raw Materials you will:
- Strategically manage raw material categories (e.g. polyols and acids) by developing strategic sourcing methodologies (SSM) managing supplier relationships and driving cost savings innovation and supply security across global operations.
- Serve as Regional Procurement Lead for the Global Elastomer Platform aligning with business units to support regional and global sourcing initiatives market intelligence and risk mitigation strategies.
- Act as key interface between global category management and regional stakeholders ensuring procurement strategies are aligned with regional business needs and supply chain objectives.
- Lead and develop two Category Leads in Krakow driving performance capability development and career growth.
- Develop and execute multi-year category strategies for assigned raw materials leveraging TCO (total cost of ownership) models supplier segmentation and market analytics.
- Negotiate and manage strategic supplier agreements ensuring compliance performance tracking and continuous improvement across quality service and cost dimensions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D Supply Chain Manufacturing and Legal to support innovation sustainability and regulatory compliance in sourcing activities.
- Monitor and report on market trends risks and opportunities within raw materials and elastomer supply markets proactively adjusting strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
Experience and Competencies:
What we are looking for:
- A degree in Engineering Business or equivalent - preferable.
- Previous experience in a commercial/procurement role within an international context.
- Experience with complex supply chains and supplier negotiation in industrial or chemical sectors
- Solid knowledge in budgeting costing contract management and category sourcing.
- Excellent analytical and financial skills with a proven ability to make decisions based on data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of Power BI and SAP is highly advantageous.
- Proven business acumen with strengths in process optimization and strategic planning
- Ability to collaborate effectively and build trusted relationships across functions and regions
- Demonstrated leadership and accountability with a track record of turning strategy into results
- Strong communication and influencing skills capable of engaging diverse stakeholders with clarity and impact
- Flexibility to travel up to 20% as required by the role
