The Financial Manager remains the strategic business partner to the
Senior Management Plant Manager & Commercial Manager and is
responsible for the overall financial health of the organization.
Key duties in this position incl:
Financial Reporting & Compliance:Oversee all accounting processes and ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements reports for senior management statutory and group reporting. Ensure full compliance with Polish Accounting Standards (PAR) and USGAAP.
Budgeting & Forecasting:Lead the annual budgeting process and develop robust financial forecasts. Monitor performance against budget identify variances and provide strategic insights to guide executive decision-making.
Cost Analysis & Efficiency:Collaborate with production teams to analyze cost structures optimize resource allocation and identify efficiency gains within the manufacturing process.
Cash Flow Management:Plan manage and monitor the companys cash flow and balance sheet to ensure sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations and investment activities.
Stakeholder Relations:Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors financial institutions and internal stakeholders including offshore or global teams.
Tax and Internal Control:Manage tax matters including transfer pricing WHT and monitor internal control procedures to ensure adherence to company policies and government regulations.
Corporate legal: ensuring legal compliance and supporting the company in all corporate governance matters.
SAP: participation in SAP projects and close cooperation with Group IT team.
Required Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelors or masters degree in Finance /Accounting /Economics or a related field. A professional certification (e.g. ACCA CIMA CPA) is an advantage.
- Experience:Several years of professional experience in a similar financial management or auditing role incl. standard cost accounting within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Team management skills: Strong team management skills with extensive experience leading financial team incl. Shared Services Centers (SSC).
- Language Proficiency:Fluency in bothPolishandEnglish.
- Technical Skills:Advanced MS Excel skills experience with ERP systems (SAP).
