Impact Bridge Consulting has been retained to hire the right fit Associate for agrowing law firm. We are looking for a sharp family attorney who will zealously represent our clients in all areas of family law. Youll assist individuals in a variety of situations such as navigating prenuptial agreements and attending court hearings for divorce alimony/spousal support and child support. The prime candidate will have experience with a range of sensitive legal issues such as child abuse child custody and domestic violence and be able to maintain composure negotiate and argue effectively even in emotional and high-stress situations. Responsibilities:
- Ability to manage and attend hearings trials and case proceedings
- Enjoy taking cases to trial or pursuing aggressive early settlements
- Must be able to manage a large docket
- Must be able to draft pleadings motions contracts marital settlement agreements judgements and orders for a high volume of cases
- Maintain client files to ensure they are properly organized and up to date
- Handle the division of marital assets including real estate during divorce proceedings as needed
- Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action
- Communicate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move through the civil litigation process
Qualifications:- Proven record of success in advocating for plaintiffs and defendants
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law practice
- Strong understanding of Texas family law code statutes and procedures
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to client matters
