Job Summary

Job Title: Civil and Structural Engineer - ETO

Work Location: Houston TX (77056)

Duration: 12 Months contract

Schedule: 8-Hour shift 40-hour work week

Job Description

This is a Structural Designer role (not an engineering position). The Structural AutoCAD Designer develops structural designs from concept through construction and supports discipline leads throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Produce structural design drawing packages using AVEVA (E3D) and AutoCAD.
Collaborate with the lead structural engineer and other discipline teams as directed.
Ensure designs comply with standards codes and regulations.
Assist with updating and maintaining design standards and procedures.
Support scope schedule and budget requirements.
Set up AutoCAD drawings from files provided by the Lead Engineer.
Create plans and details from sketches and redline markups.
Support improvement of AVEVA (E3D) and CAD standards.
Coordinate and maintain project models using MS Office AutoCAD Navisworks and AVEVA (E3D).
Follow company quality control and project management procedures.
Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

Associate degree in Computer-Aided Drafting or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10 years of structural design experience.
Proficiency in AutoCAD AVEVA/E3D and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication attention to detail problem-solving organization and teamwork skills.
Effective time management and adaptability to change.
