permanent Job Title: Office Administrator Company Overview: Msuez UK is a leading company in the waste management industry providing innovative solutions for the collection transportation and disposal of waste materials. With a strong presence in the UK we are now expanding our operations to Durban South Africa. Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Office Administrator to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time permanent position with room for growth and development within the company. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the day-to-day operations of the office including answering phone calls responding to emails and maintaining office supplies - Schedule and coordinate meetings appointments and travel arrangements for team members - Prepare and distribute correspondence memos and reports - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files - Assist with the onboarding process for new employees including completing paperwork and setting up equipment - Support the HR department with administrative tasks such as scheduling interviews and maintaining employee records - Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and workflow - Assist with event planning and coordination for company events - Monitor office expenses and handle petty cash - Perform general administrative tasks such as photocopying filing and data entry Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus - Proven experience as an office administrator administrative assistant or similar role - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office software - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information - Knowledge of HR processes and procedures is a plus Working Conditions: This is a full-time permanent position based in Durban South Africa. The office is open Monday to Friday during standard business hours. Some flexibility may be required for occasional evening or weekend events.
