Job Summary
Saratoga Medical is hiring a Board Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist (Chief)in Houston TX. Package includes competitive rate paid time off and benefit options.
Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist (Chief)at Houston TX. This is a great full-time opportunity 36 - 40 hours work week schedule Monday to Friday excluding Federal holidays. Minimum Qualifications:
Education
- MS or PhD in Medical Physics or a related field
Certification
- Board Certification (ABR or equivalent)
Post-Board Experience
- Minimum 5 years of documented post-board clinical experience
Recent Work Experience
- Minimum 3 years of continuous work within the last 5 years
Required Specialized Experience
- Quality Assurance (QA) Procedures: 5 years of documented experience performing QA procedures
- Therapeutic Medical Physics (Accredited System): 3 years of experience within a healthcare system with an accredited radiation oncology service
- Varian Linear Accelerators (TrueBeam or equivalent): 3 years of experience following TG-142 standards
- Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) including Cone Beam CT: 3 years of experience following TG-142 standards
- Treatment Planning Systems:3 years of experience with Pinnacle Eclipse and R&V systems (Mosaiq ARIA)
- Experience must include 2D/3D Conformal SRS SRT SBRT DIBH SGRT IMRT/VMAT (TG-53)
- IMRT QA: 3 years using MapCheck I/II or equivalent
- CT Simulator (GE or equivalent): 3 years following TG-66 standards
- Accuray CyberKnife: Minimum 1 year of experience
- Acceptance Testing: Successfully performed at least one acceptance test on a linear accelerator
- Commissioning: Successfully performed at least one commissioning of a linear accelerator for a treatment planning system
