Job Summary

Role Overview:

The Product Owner will be responsible for defining prioritizing and delivering features and improvements related safe POSIX platform. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including architecture development validation and program management to ensure high-quality reliable and efficient software solutions for next-generation automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Backlog Ownership: Define and maintain the product backlog for platform features which enables the development of ADAS features ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
Requirement Definition: Translate platform features requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with counter parts from BMW and internal teams to gather requirements and provide regular updates on progress.
Prioritization: Discuss with release management and prioritize the feature development and quality compliance according to release cycles.
Technical Collaboration: Work closely with architects and engineering teams to validate feasibility ensure compliance with automotive standards (ISO 26262 ASPICE) and support root cause analysis for performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Electronics Automotive Engineering or related field.
Experience:
- 5 years in automotive software development or product management.
- Strong understanding of features for platform monitoring tools IPC mechanisms logging infrastructure along with know how of QNX and Modern C.
- Experienced with tools such as codebeamer Jira PowerBI would be a plus
- Experience in Automotive industry with knowledge of function safety compliance.
Certifications: SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM) or equivalent preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in modern C11
- Experience with QNX or any RToS
- Basic Knowledge of version control system (git)
- Basic knowledge of automative safety compliance
Soft Skills: Excellent communication stakeholder management and decision-making abilities.
