Role Overview
This role leads strategy across a major UK brand their portfolio covers a mix of sports-led and entertainment-driven work. Youll guide annual planning shape campaign thinking and bring audience insight into every recommendation. The work is fast-paced so youll need to be comfortable bringing clarity quickly and advising senior stakeholders with confidence. Youll also work closely with strategy planning and buying teams to ensure everything connects smoothly from insight through to execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead integrated media and communications strategy across multiple brands
- Translate business and brand objectives into clear strategic recommendations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders
- Use market research and audience data to uncover insights and guide planning
- Work closely with Planning Marketing Science and Creative teams to ensure alignment
- Shape annual planning and contribute to major sponsorship and partnership thinking
- Ensure consistency between strategy execution and measurement
- Identify opportunities for organic growth by connecting client needs to specialist services
- Contribute to new business pitches and wider agency initiatives
- Stay informed on media trends new technologies and the evolving effectiveness landscape
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong experience in brand campaign or communications strategy
- Comfortable working with fast turnarounds and incomplete information
- Confident discussing the media landscape effectiveness theory and measurement (e.g. MMM)
- Able to turn client briefs into clear actionable strategic recommendations
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to link marketing strategy to business outcomes
- Skilled storyteller and presenter both written and verbal
- Experience advising senior stakeholders and guiding internal teams
- Interest in sports entertainment or culturally driven brands
- Familiarity with audience analysis tools such as TGI
- Comfortable exploring how AI and automation can support creativity and performance
