Job Summary:

We are hiring a detail-oriented Investment Administration Officer Reconciliations to join our dynamic Investment team. As an Investment Administration Officer Reconciliations you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of investment records through daily and monthly reconciliations settlements pricing validation and compliance monitoring. Your analytical skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders will be essential in maintaining data integrity and operational efficiency.

Please note the start time hours range from 7.30am - 8.30am Monday to Friday with 2 days in office attendance required.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of cash and investment assets ensuring accuracy and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
  • Process and reconcile settlements dividend accruals and foreign currency conversions ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Pricing & Trade Monitoring
  • Review and validate investment pricing addressing discrepancies with custodians as needed.
  • Monitor and resolve failed or delayed trade settlements coordinating with relevant teams.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Corporate Actions Support
  • Reconcile and manage IRS withholding obligations on US dividends ensuring timely remittance and compliance.
  • Support the Corporate Actions team in maintaining data accuracy and processing corporate events.
  • Collaboration & Process Improvement
  • Partner with the Cash Team to complete morning cash reconciliations. Work closely with Operations Finance Compliance and IT teams to enhance reconciliation processes.
  • Contribute to process improvements and ad-hoc projects including tax component processing for EOFY.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar role with a wrap platform or within the financial planning industry.
  • Understanding of Australian Tax
  • Strong Excel skills to reconcile data
  • Significant financial services experience in similar position
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge on Australian securities cash options and an understanding of the risks inherent in settlement activities
  • Tertiary qualifications highly regarded.
