Job Summary
Saratoga Medical is hiring a Board Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicist in Houston TX. Package includes competitive rate paid time off and benefit options.
Saratoga Medical has an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified Therapeutic Medical Physicistat Houston TX. This is a great full-time opportunity 36 - 40 hours work week schedule Monday to Friday excluding Federal holidays. Minimum Qualifications:
Education
- MS or PhD in Medical Physics or a related field
Certification
- Board Certified (ABR or equivalent)
Recent Work Experience
- Minimum 2 years of continuous work within the last 3 years
Required Specialized Experience:
- Quality Assurance (QA) Procedures: 2 years of documented experience performing QA procedures
- Therapeutic Medical Physics (Accredited System): 1 year of experience within a healthcare system with an accredited radiation oncology service
- Varian Linear Accelerators (TrueBeam or equivalent): 1 year following TG-142 standards
- Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) including Cone Beam CT: 1 year following TG-142 standards
- Treatment Planning Systems: 1 year of experience with Pinnacle Eclipse and R&V systems (Mosaiq ARIA) including 2D/3D Conformal SRS SRT SBRT DIBH SGRT IMRT/VMAT per TG-53 guidelines
- IMRT QA: 1 year using MapCheck I/II or equivalent
- CT Simulator (GE or equivalent): 1 year following TG-66 standards
