Job Summary
The Chelmsford Public Schools is now accepting applications for the following anticipated vacancy. The District reserves the right to change this vacancy or not fill this vacancy based on further staffing changes enrollment or budget. Position: Long-Term Special Education Teacher --Grades 5 and 6Location: Parker Middle School Assignment Dates: 12/01/25- 12/23/25 Dates are subject to changeDescription:- Design supervise and implement students IEP plans - Instruct students using specialized curriculum.- Develop curriculum modifications and adaptations.- Participate in IEP Team meetings. - Write effective IEPs for students - Collect and analyze student data and monitor student progress - Effectively work with a team of professionals to coordinate services - Consult with general education teacher and related service providers. - Assist classroom teachers with instructional strategies to facilitate inclusion. - Write quarterly progress reports for IEP goals that are data based on student performance. - Administer various diagnostic achievement assessments (WIAT-4 Woodcock Johnson IV Key Math GORT 5 CTOPP etc.) that identifies student capabilities as part of initial and reevaluation for students. - Write effective evaluation reports summarizing findings and making recommendations for assigned students.
