Position: Program Manager - Part-Time-Student Support
Reports To: Director of Academic and Student Affairs
Potential Start Date: Immediately
Job Description:To provide support services to part-time VLACS students. To work with parents to help them support their children s educational plans. To serve as a liaison to other NH schools by working with local school officials to answer questions about VLACS program and courses and to provide them with relevant information so they can support their students enrolled at VLACS. This is a year-round position.
Location:This position is a hybrid position with at least 2 days/week required in the Exeter office.
Job Requirements:- Respond to student parent or school inquiries regarding the VLACS program.
- Work as a liaison between VLACS instructors and the families they are working with when needed.
- Work with instructors to help support students who may be having difficulty with course material and/or pace.
- Connect students and families with relevant outside support services offered at the state county and/or local levels.
- Collaborate with NHs Division for Children Youth and Families (DCYF) as needed.
- Understand and promote VLACS multiple learning pathways
- Additional duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to problem solve and work collaboratively to create effective action plans to support student success.
- Strong listening conflict resolution and advocacy skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
Degrees Experience or Certification Required:- Active educator certification in New Hampshire
- Extensive school-related experience working to support students/families
- Counseling certification is a plus but not required.
Annual Compensation and Benefits:$60000 - $ 65000 based on experience
Annual Non-Compensatory Benefits:- Paid Time Off based on length of service
